Position Summary:
The ADM facility in Lloydminster, Alberta is looking for candidates for the role of Industrial Maintenance Technician. Responsibilities include maintaining all machinery to meet operational standards and providing support for both preventive and reactive maintenance as required by plant operations. Candidates must be available for after-hours troubleshooting and respond to facility needs as necessary. This is an hourly non-union position that may involve shift work, weekend duties, and on-call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Adhering to established safety protocols and practices Diagnosing mechanical issues Repairing, refurbishing, and servicing equipment Exhibiting a strong team-oriented mindset while being capable of working independently with minimal oversight Suggesting modifications or upgrades to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency Interpreting equipment schematics and documentation Keeping detailed records of work performed and equipment modifications Communicating effectively, both in writing and verbally Performing additional tasks as required

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proficiency in pumps, conveyor systems, gearboxes, milling equipment, grinders, and filtration systems Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams Experience in inspecting, repairing, cleaning, and maintaining industrial machinery Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Excellent communication abilities, both oral and written Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite is advantageous High level of mechanical aptitude is essential

Education and Experience:

Certification in industrial mechanics (millwright) or pipefitting is preferred Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a journeyman or apprentice Proven track record of working safely and actively participating in safety improvement initiatives
