Job Description

The Incident and Problem Management Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT services at Definity Financial. This position is responsible for managing and governing the incident and problem management process, which is based on ITIL best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the right resources to restore normal service levels following an event that disrupts our IT services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to prevent and minimize the impact of incidents and problems on our business operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Monitor and analyze incident and problem trends to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain documentation to ensure compliance with ITIL standards.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of ITIL best practices and incident and problem management processes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
