Job Description for Floor Layer

At Quetzali Flooring, we are seeking a skilled Floor Layer to join our team. As a Floor Layer, you will be responsible for installing various types of flooring, including hardwood, resilient, and carpet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Install carpeting on floors
  • Install resilient floor coverings
  • Prepare and install hardwood floors
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
Work Environment:

This is a physically demanding role that requires bending, crouching, and kneeling. You must be organized and a team player.
