Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Dynamic Manufacturing Solutions. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our employees, ensuring that they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their jobs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Respond to user inquiries and provide technical assistance to resolve issues related to computer hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze and resolve complex technical problems, often requiring research and consultation with technical manuals and other resources.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to employees on the use of software applications, hardware, and other technical systems.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of technical issues and solutions, including a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other technical support analysts, IT staff, and employees to resolve technical issues and improve overall technical support services.
  • Equipment Setup and Maintenance: Set up and configure computer equipment, including hardware and software, to ensure proper installation and functionality.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a related field, such as computer science or information technology.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate technical information effectively to employees.
  • Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility to work overtime as needed.
