Bilingual Field Recruiter

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Field Recruiter to support our team in Ottawa.

You will be responsible for cultivating relationships with our operations and business partners to identify top-tier talent within the local market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle, including review, screening, and recommendation of suitable candidates for specific business lines.
  • Act as a strategic partner to the business units you support, spearheading key initiatives within your designated regions.
  • Manage high-volume recruiting processes by partnering with field operations leadership to determine staffing needs within an assigned territory.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with local Human Resources, operational hiring leaders, and collaborate with local educational institutions.
  • Create and develop sourcing strategies, headhunt, and use outside-the-box ideas to attract quality talent.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, manage candidate activity in the Workday Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and maintain application/resume file retention according to company policy.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in French
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Valid Driver's License
