Position Overview

The Food Services Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our dining facilities. This position requires a blend of leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and service.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is mandatory.
Work Environment
  • Staff accommodation is available.
  • Work settings include restaurants and hospitality venues such as hotels and resorts.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules.
  • Order food and kitchen supplies as needed.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
  • Train employees on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
  • Estimate the ingredients and supplies necessary for meal preparation.
  • Recruit food service personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standards for food and service.
  • Prepare financial budgets and cost estimates.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
  • Compile and submit operational reports.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the culinary team.
  • Oversee the assembly of meal trays.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervision of a team comprising 3-4 individuals.

Safety and Security

A basic security clearance is required for this position.
