Role Overview

As part of the Service Delivery Management team, the Performance Improvement Engineer acts as a transformative agent, dedicated to innovating and modernizing our software delivery processes.

This role requires collaboration with specialized site reliability and software engineering teams, offering strategic insights into optimizing software delivery performance by understanding both the technology and business aspects of PointClickCare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Chaos Engineering initiatives to enhance incident preparedness among engineering teams.
  • Facilitate the change advisory board, empowering teams to manage their own risks effectively.
Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in system or software engineering (preferred).
  • Strong skills in visual and creative data presentation.
  • Familiarity with Agile Software Development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of ITIL, DevOps, and SRE practices.

Additionally, candidates should demonstrate:

  • Problem-solving abilities, process analysis, and root cause identification skills.
  • ITIL or COBIT certifications (preferred).
  • Project Management or Agile certification, or similar educational background.
  • Business Analysis, Lean Six Sigma, TOGAF certification, or similar qualifications.
