Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Old Winery Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and work under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
