Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Administrative Assistant to join our team at DIWAN A DAWETT RESTAURANT LTD O/A DAWETT RESTAURANT. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and providing exceptional support to our staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Policy Implementation: Develop and enforce office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Office Management: Establish and manage daily office routines and procedures.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Organize and confirm meetings and appointments for team members.
  • Communication: Handle incoming calls and messages, ensuring effective communication.
  • Electronic Correspondence: Respond to electronic inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Inventory Management: Order and manage office supplies, maintaining adequate stock levels.
  • Reception Duties: Welcome visitors and direct them to the appropriate contacts or service areas.
  • Information Management: Set up and maintain both manual and digital filing systems for easy access to information.
  • Documentation: Type and proofread various documents, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent service to clients and visitors.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role.
  • Employment Type: Permanent position.
  • Language Requirement: Proficiency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
