Hotel Receptionist

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk Hotel Clerk to join our team at Beausejour Hotel. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay.
Key Responsibilities- Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
- Process room reservations, cancellations, and changes with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Provide guests with information on hotel facilities and services, including dining options, amenities, and local attractions.
- Manage guest departures, calculate charges, and process payments with a high level of accuracy.
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
- Perform various clerical duties, such as faxing, filing, and photocopying, as needed.
- Answer phone calls and relay messages to guests and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist guests with special needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Contact guests to deliver wake-up calls and provide other assistance as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and comfortable environment for guests.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
