Job Title: Welder Tester

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Welder Tester to join our team at the CWB Group. As a Welder Tester, you will be responsible for providing welder qualification testing services, welder test witnessing, auditing, and procedure testing services to CWB clients who are applicants or certified to various CSA welding standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide welder qualification testing services to CWB clients
• Witness welder tests and audits
• Conduct procedure testing services
• Work with the Central Regional Supervisor to ensure compliance with CSA welding standards

Requirements:

• Knowledge of welding and CSA W47.1, W47.2, and W186 welder qualification testing standards
• Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in welding, inspection, or education/training
• Technical background and knowledge of the welding and joining industry
• A valid driver's license and own vehicle for travel

Preferred Qualifications:

• CWB Approved Welding Supervisor
• CSA W178.2 Level 1 or 2 Inspector
• Journey Person Welder with more than 5 years experience
• Welding Engineering Technician/Technologist
