We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Walker Lake Meat Shop. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting meats to meet the high standards of our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and prepare meats for processing and cutting
- Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat
- Wrap and package prepared meats
- Remove bones from meat
- Weigh meats for sale
- Cut poultry into parts
- Clean and prepare fish and shellfish
- Cut fish into steaks and fillets
- Grind meats
- Slice cooked meats
- Prepare special orders
- Prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products
- Shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Will train
- Fast-paced environment
- Standing for extended periods
- Attention to detail
Our team works in a fast-paced environment, and we require our Meat Cutter to be able to stand for extended periods and maintain attention to detail.
