About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Engineer to join our team as an Endpoint Architect. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive endpoint strategy that meets the needs of our users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect and oversee AMA's endpoint devices to ensure seamless user experience.
  • Develop and maintain a software roadmap and lifecycle for supported applications, recommending upgrades or replacements as needed.
  • Implement and manage centralized software distribution and system configuration tools.
  • Assess endpoint management systems and propose improvements or replacements.
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain automation scripts to address large initiatives.
  • Provide technical leadership through coaching and mentoring of junior and intermediate coworkers.
  • Collaborate with the team lead to drive the Endpoint strategic plan and recommend a digital device 3-year strategy.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in an appropriate field, such as Information Technology or Computer Science.
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in endpoint management and digital device deployments.
  • Proven track record of leading technology roadmaps for large fleets of end-user devices.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Windows, macOS, and Office 365, as well as experience with ServiceNow, Knowledge Management, Microsoft Intune, and Azure Active Directory.
  • Strong coaching skills and ability to help team members learn and grow.
  • Microsoft Certification, Project Management Professional, and Agile certifications are an asset.
