About the Role

Central Paving Ltd. is seeking a skilled Paving Equipment Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our paving equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and Maintain Equipment: Regularly clean and lubricate equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend its lifespan.
  • Operate Complex Machinery: Safely operate computer-controlled equipment, including hydraulic pumping systems, to meet production targets.
  • Conduct Pre-Operational Checks: Perform thorough pre-operational checks on equipment to identify and address any potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Communicate Effectively: Utilize two-way radios and other communication equipment to stay in touch with team members and management.
  • Perform Minor Repairs: Conduct minor repairs to equipment to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
  • Work in a Team Environment: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced construction environment, with a focus on safety and quality.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Hours of Work: 35-40 hours per week, with regular breaks and time off.
