About the Role:

Verve Senior Living is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our Environmental Services team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our residence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily and weekly cleaning, laundry, and vacuuming of resident suites in accordance with established procedures and schedules.
  • Clean all common areas, including hallways, lobbies, and public spaces, to maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Replenish supplies as required and ensure that housekeeping rooms, closets, equipment, and carts are kept in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition.
  • Participate in and adhere to continuous quality improvement standards, including infection prevention control protocols.
  • Provide general assistance to residents as required and report any equipment or maintenance concerns to direct supervisor or designate.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of grade 12 education required.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar housekeeping position is preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, in the English language.
  • Attention to detail is essential in ensuring cleaning tasks are performed to standard.
  • Dependable, responsible, and an ability to work well with others in a team environment and independently.
