Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Connexions Ltd.
Job Summary:The Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes supervising staff, assigning duties, hiring and training new employees, and maintaining inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff members, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Assign sales workers to duties, ensuring that the store is adequately staffed at all times.
- Hire and train new employees, or arrange for training to be provided.
- Authorize payments by cheque, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Order merchandise, and ensure that inventory levels are maintained.
- Establish work schedules, and ensure that staff members are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
- Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that stock levels are accurate and up-to-date.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Manage cash, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Conduct performance reviews, and provide feedback to staff members.
- 3-4 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail, and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with standing for extended periods.
- Cellular phone, and other necessary tools and equipment.
- Accurate, client-focused, efficient, and organized, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Flexibility, reliability, and team player skills.
The Retail Store Supervisor will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Language:The language of work is English.
Hours of Work:30 to 35 hours per week.
