About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at JnB Homecare Services Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and support in a home care setting
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Help patients with mobility and transfer needs, including walking, lifting, and positioning
  • Administer medications and perform other medical tasks as required
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding patients
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of patient care and activities
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in a healthcare-related field or equivalent experience
  • Current certification in CPR and First Aid
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and perform physical tasks as required
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
