About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Paul's Kitchen Viet Thai Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for leading our culinary team and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that showcase our Vietnamese and Thai cuisine, ensuring that dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, assistants, and other support staff, to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers receive a high-quality dining experience.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, standing for extended periods.
