Role Overview

As a Reformer Pilates Instructor at Movati Athletic, you will be an integral part of our team, delivering exceptional workout experiences to our members. Your passion for Pilates and commitment to excellence will make you a valuable asset to our studio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instruct engaging and challenging Reformer Pilates classes for members of all ages and fitness levels
  • Ensure that methods and techniques conform to standardized club training practices
  • Provide an exceptional workout experience and unparalleled service to meet the diverse needs of new and existing Pilates members
  • Build and sustain relationships with new and existing Club members
  • Provide 5-star class instruction by ensuring all classes start and end on time and that classes are covered in the event of vacation or illness
  • Responsible for creating a safe, fun and welcoming environment for all members
  • Proactively seek feedback (positive and constructive) from class participants and share feedback with management with a view to continuously improve the program
  • Sell Reformer Pilates session packages to interested members
Requirements
  • Must be available to instruct a minimum of 5 classes per week for group, partner and one on one sessions
  • 1+ years related Group Fitness or Personal Training instruction experience required leading Pilates (Mat), Yoga, Wellness, Mobility or Personal Training
  • Successful completion of a nationally recognized, Fitness Instruction Specialist or Personal Training Specialist Certification is required (Pilates Reformer Certification is considered an asset)
  • Additional certifications to teach specialized classes, special populations, and adapted fitness are an asset
