We are seeking a highly skilled Shift Manager to join our team at Taco Del Mar. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and motivate our food service team to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to new staff members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Hire and Manage Staff: Recruit, hire, and manage a team of food service staff, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and customer service.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet our quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that every customer leaves satisfied.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth and improvement.
- Policy Development: Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations, ensuring that our team is equipped to deliver exceptional service and quality food.
- Participate in Community Programs: Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees, promoting social and labour market integration.
- Settlement Support: Assist with immediate settlement needs, such as housing, transportation, and storage, ensuring a smooth transition for newcomers and refugees.
- Language and Skills Training: Support newcomers and refugees with language training, skills training, and access to community resources, facilitating their integration into our community.
- Credential Recognition: Support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition, ensuring that their skills and qualifications are recognized and valued.
- Youth Employment Programs: Participate in government or community programs that support youth employment, promoting social and labour market integration.
- On-the-Job Training: Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth, providing them with the skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Cultural Competency Training: Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to employees, creating a welcoming work environment for youth.
- Indigenous Support Programs: Participate in government or community programs that support Indigenous people, promoting social and labour market integration.

- Elder Support: Facilitate access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers, promoting their well-being and success.
