Job Summary:

The Business Development Partner will be responsible for onboarding, developing, and coaching a team of Advisors to achieve sales growth and client service excellence in the insurance and wealth sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Advisors through comprehensive onboarding and training programs to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.
  • Work closely with Advisors to meet financial and strategic objectives, including sales growth, productivity, and client engagement.
  • Oversee compliance measures to ensure operational effectiveness at the Financial Centre Level.
  • Recruit, select, train, and onboard new Advisors, and oversee the successful execution of an Onboarding Plan.
  • Evaluate and address client complaints, including assessments and advisor investigations.
  • Ensure operational effectiveness aligns with business plans by monitoring Advisor Agreement, data, and metrics activity.

Requirements:

  • Strong product knowledge of insurance and wealth products, with a good understanding of the local market.
  • Proven sales management and business development skills, with experience leading people through large-scale change in a matrix environment.
  • Strong mentoring, coaching, performance management, and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in both English and French.
  • Previous experience in an Advisor role, with a proven track record of developing successful Advisors, would be an asset.
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience within the financial services industry, with a valid Life Insurance Agent's license in the province where the Financial Centre is located.
  • Proficient with various technologies, including Sun Vision Financial Analyzer.
