About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at Tim Ring Property Management. As a Construction Labourer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Materials: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from construction sites.
  • Perform Pre-Operational Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment and machinery are in good working condition.
  • Read Blueprints: Read and interpret blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Erect and Dismantle Forms and Scaffolding: Safely erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, Pour, and Spread Materials: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt according to project specifications.
  • Level Earth: Level earth to fine grade specifications to ensure a stable and even surface.
  • Clean and Pile Salvaged Materials: Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse or disposal.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment and machinery are in good working condition.
  • Remove Rubble and Debris: Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Tend or Feed Machines: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction to ensure efficient operation.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and deadlines to meet.
  • Work Under Pressure: Work under pressure to meet project deadlines and ensure quality workmanship.
  • Physically Demanding: Perform physically demanding tasks that require lifting, carrying, and maneuvering heavy loads.
  • Handling Heavy Loads: Handle heavy loads and equipment with care to prevent injury or damage.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in workmanship.
Requirements
  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate: Possess a secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • 1 to Less than 7 Months of Experience: Have 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
