Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Analyst to join our team in Montreal, Canada. As a Security Analyst, you will be responsible for automating tedious tasks, building scripts to retrieve valuable information, and detecting threats that could impact Société Générale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Automate manual tasks to reduce reporting time and increase incident response efficiency
  • Build scripts to gather information and reduce response time on incidents
  • Automate Siem Use Case testing and other automation projects for Threat Hunting purposes
  • Create detection use cases to generate alerts on malicious activity
  • Analyze alerts and ensure they are relevant before sending them to level one third-party
  • Build Incident Response Playbooks (IRP) during the soaking period
  • Contain and eradicate security incidents

Requirements

  • Master's degree from a Business or Engineering School or University
  • Fluent in English (B2-C1)
  • Proficient in scripting languages and MS Office
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Basic knowledge of IT networks and SIEM tools

About the VIE Assignment

This VIE assignment in Canada is a 24-month contract, starting as soon as possible. You will be integrated into our teams and learn alongside our experts. At the end of your contract, various opportunities could be offered to you, in Canada and abroad.
