About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team at Allnorth Consultants Limited. As a key member of our Saskatoon or Regina team, you will have the opportunity to lead a team and plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of civil projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage a variety of projects such as infrastructure upgrades and subdivision developments, including design and construction of water, sewer, drainage, and transportation infrastructure.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance to a team of engineers and designers to deliver preliminary to detailed design drawings and specifications.
  • Estimation and Analysis: Carry out estimates of project costs, analysis and calculations, design review, preparation of reports, proposals, and contract documentation.
  • Business Development: Build business relationships with current and potential clients.
  • Client Interface: Interface directly with clients, team members, contractors, and others to clearly define project requirements and expectations.
  • Quality and Schedule: Ensure completion of work within allotted schedules and budgets to high quality standards.
  • Work Planning: Create a work plan that includes a schedule, milestones, control, and risk factors.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively resolve performance, scope, and schedule issues as they arise.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or industrial systems engineering (other disciplines encouraged to apply if practicing Civil Engineering).
  • Registration: Must be registered (or eligible to register) as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) in the province of Saskatchewan.
  • Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in municipal engineering and project management.
  • Skills: Strong project management, technical and analytical skills, strong technical writing skills, effective verbal communicator, ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, good organization skills and strong attention to detail.
