Position Overview

The Hospital for Sick Children is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Cardiologist to join our esteemed medical team. This is a permanent position with a commitment of 35 hours per week, primarily conducted in English.

Job Responsibilities
  • Diagnosis: Identify diseases and physiological disorders in pediatric patients.
  • Research: Engage in medical research focused on human disorders and effective treatment methods.
  • Treatment: Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Referrals: Recommend patients for surgical interventions when necessary.
  • Patient Care: Provide comprehensive treatment for various diseases and physiological disorders.

  • Consultation: Collaborate with other physicians to enhance patient care.
  • Diagnostics: Order and interpret laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures.
Qualifications
  • Education: A degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a relevant field is essential.
  • Licensing: Must possess licensure from provincial or territorial authorities and pass the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification Examination.
