We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at 2819443 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, including GST/HST and other applicable taxes.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
- Skills: Proficiency in bookkeeping software, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent attention to detail.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a 30-hour workweek. The successful candidate will be required to work independently and as part of a team.
