Position Overview: The Facility Operations Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring exceptional customer experiences while acquiring valuable insights into the operational, sales, and administrative aspects of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Efficiently loading and unloading products.
  2. Assisting customers in locating items.
  3. Managing inventory reception and organization within the warehouse.
  4. Handling incoming calls professionally.
  5. Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work environment.
  6. Executing timely deliveries.

This entry-level position serves as a gateway to future career advancements within the Co-op system.

Required Qualifications:

  1. A valid Class 5 or higher driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
  2. Knowledge of agricultural products is preferred.
  3. Preference for candidates pursuing or holding a diploma or degree in Agricultural studies.
  4. Must successfully complete a pre-employment alcohol and substance test.
  5. Provision of a clean Drivers Abstract is required during the recruitment process.
  6. Completion of a pre-employment Driver Evaluation by an authorized third-party is necessary.
  7. Experience in the agricultural sector is advantageous.
  8. Physical capability to perform warehouse duties, including lifting and carrying over 55 lbs regularly.
  9. Experience with forklifts and skid steers is beneficial.
  10. Strong customer service skills, both internally and externally.
  11. Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  12. Proficiency in reading land locations and maps.
  13. Adaptability to new technologies is essential.
  14. Demonstrated integrity and strong work ethic.
  15. Ability to interact with individuals in a sensitive, tactful, and professional manner.
  16. Effective oral and written communication skills.
  17. High flexibility and interpersonal skills for working in diverse environments.
  18. Quick responsiveness in dynamic situations.
  19. A positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

Work Schedule: Availability for days, evenings, and weekends during peak seasons is required.
