Job Title: Construction Painter

We are seeking a skilled Construction Painter to join our team at BCM Contractors Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and painting various surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and floors. They will also be required to repair cracks and holes, mix paint to desired color and texture, and apply wallpaper and other materials to walls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted
  • Repair cracks and holes
  • Mix paint to desired color and texture
  • Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Airless spray equipment experience
  • Brush painting experience
  • Conventional spray painting experience
  • Multi-ratio pump spraying experience
  • Patterned rollers experience
  • Roller painting experience
  • Thermal spray equipment experience
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and humidity levels. They will also be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols.
