Job Summary:

The Powertrain Electrical Triage Engineer will be responsible for collaborating with various teams to identify and resolve electrical issues on vehicles at all build levels. This role requires a strong understanding of powertrain electrical systems and the ability to lead root cause analysis and drive issues to resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead powertrain electrical root cause analysis and determination of issues during all pilot phases.
  • Develop and implement solutions to electrical issues affecting powertrain performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve electrical issues.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of electrical systems and tools, including CDA, CAN, CANalizer, and Canoe.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in automotive electrical systems and component development.
  • Strong understanding of powertrain electrical systems and electrical root cause analysis.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited university.
