Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst Developer to join our team at FNZ (UK) Ltd. As a Business Analyst Developer, you will play a key role in designing and developing complex financial systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analysis and Design
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define system specifications.
    • Design and develop high-transactional, high-availability, secure systems that meet business needs.
    • Work with development teams to ensure system integrity and quality.
  • Development
    • Develop complex financial systems using Microsoft.NET, C#/VB.NET, ASP.NET, MVC, WebAPI, SQL Server, and other relevant technologies.
    • Design and build intuitive user interfaces and interactive financial tools.
    • Collaborate with other developers to ensure solutions are robust and meet requirements.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Participate in code reviews to ensure high standards and system integrity.
    • Write automated unit tests for newly created code.
    • Perform manual testing to ensure system quality.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Engage in collaboration and communication channels with cross-functional teams.
    • Mentor junior developers to ensure they understand system and SDLC.
    • Deliver knowledge-sharing sessions on topics of expertise.
  • Technology and Innovation
    • Stay up-to-date with industry practices, new technologies, tools, and methods.
    • Proactively resolve technical issues that impede development progress.
    • Create novel solutions to problems by incorporating cutting-edge technology.
    Requirements
    • Primary Requirements
      • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
      • Confident and able to take initiative in a delivery-focused environment.
      • Independent and self-directed working style.
      • Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic fast-paced industry.
      • Enjoy working as part of a high-performance team.
      • Hard-working, innovative, and takes pride in their work.
      • Passionate about creating innovative solutions for customers.
    • Secondary Requirements
      • Some experience with one or many programming languages.
      • Experience with Microsoft.NET, C#/VB.NET, ASP.NET, MVC, WebAPI, SQL Server, and other relevant technologies.
      • Experience with web development.
      • Familiarity with financial products and markets.
      • Understanding of web services and enterprise integration patterns.
      • Familiar with tools for code analysis and automated testing.
