Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at IEDG Infrastructure & Energy Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the purchasing and procurement functions across the organization, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective procurement processes.
  • Manage contracts and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible prices and terms.
  • Coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying, selling, and distributing materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies.
  • Evaluate daily operations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Supervise a team of 11-15 people and provide guidance and support to ensure successful team performance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive.
Requirements
  • 5 years or more of experience in procurement and contracts management.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Basic security clearance and criminal record check.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
