Illuminarium Experiences represents a globally recognized, digitally delivered experiential entertainment brand. Illuminarium designs, produces, markets, and manages immersive entertainment spectacles showcased in custom-built venues known as "Illuminariums". Just as museums are to art, cinemas to films, and concert halls to music, Illuminariums serve as the pinnacle of experiential entertainment. With venues spanning approximately, square feet and ceilings soaring over feet, Illuminarium identifies existing properties and customizes their interiors, incorporating cutting-edge projection and sound technologies. The outcome: Illuminariums transform into reprogrammable immersive theaters that envelop visitors in a sensory experience of unparalleled sight, sound, and scale.
THE ROLE
As a Retail Associate, you will assist guests in navigating our interactive retail space, enhancing their experience with narratives about how each purchase contributes to meaningful change. We aim to create memorable visits, ensuring that guests feel valued and inspired by the enchantment of our offerings and the significant stories behind our products.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all Illuminarium products, promotions, and services
- Engage in suggestive selling and assist guests with their purchases
- Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of Point of Sale systems and other relevant technologies
- Conduct primary cash management and perform end-of-shift self-audit balance
- Stay informed about stock availability, product details, and upcoming product ranges
- Help safeguard products and assets by diligently following procedures to minimize shrinkage
- Support retail operations, including pricing, inventory management, stock movement, and merchandising
- Perform additional related duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform each essential duty at the highest standards. The following qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required:
- Applicants must be at least years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate degree is preferred
- Minimum of years of guest-facing retail experience in a high-volume environment; prior cash handling experience is essential
- Basic math skills; ability to accurately count change and balance cash
- Responsibility for all funds at the assigned workstation and cashiers float
- Capability to stand for extended periods, lift and transport items weighing up to pounds, occasionally up to pounds
- Ability to work independently and with discretion, effectively under pressure
- Sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks, including constant reaching, bending, pushing, and pulling
- Attention to detail, adaptability in daily tasks, problem-solving skills, results-oriented, commercially aware, and self-motivated
- Capacity to retain detailed information regarding all Illuminarium products, promotions, and services
- Effective communication skills with colleagues, customers, and management
- Commitment to safe work practices, adherence to all safety policies and procedures, including Legends' COVID Preparedness Plan and Standard Operating Procedures, and completion of company-wide safety training
- Encourage team adherence to safety policies and procedures, identifying and reporting unsafe work conditions, and completing safety training
- Report all safety incidents (injuries and illnesses) into the company's risk management system on the same day they are reported
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
