Settlements Analyst Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Settlements Analyst to join our team in the Toronto office. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of settlement transactions and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Booking Swaps and Rolls: Utilize your expertise in FX to efficiently book swaps and rolls, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  • Reconciliation Tasks: Conduct thorough recaps, cash, and revenue reconciliations to guarantee accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Client Interaction: Engage with clients via phone and email, providing exceptional service and resolving queries in a timely manner.
  • Manage Canadian Products: Demonstrate a solid understanding of PAD, its operation, benefits, and client desirability, ensuring seamless product management.
  • Payment Processing: Handle domestic Canadian payments, including Swift MT103, amendments, recalls, and adhere to cut-off times, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Requirements:
  • Strong Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, both over the phone and via email, to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
  • FX and Payment Systems Knowledge: Have a solid understanding of FX and Canadian payment systems, ensuring accurate and efficient transaction execution.
  • Team Player: Be a driven and proactive individual, capable of making a significant impact while demonstrating the humility to seek guidance when necessary.
