Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at LensCrafters in Oakville, ON. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and ensuring exceptional store operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and sales results, meeting or exceeding key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching and guidance to ensure excellent sales and service skills
  • Support the store manager in diagnosing business opportunities and implementing strategies to drive growth and profitability
  • Partner with the store manager to develop and execute business plans, leveraging strengths and addressing opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Current and valid state Opticianry license
  • 1+ year(s) management/supervisory experience with direct reports
  • Strong basic math skills and familiarity with cash registers, computers, and calculators
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • College degree or equivalent
  • Previous experience in leadership positions within retail and customer service industries
  • Knowledge of basic optics and current store merchandise
