Framing Carpenter Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at Homelife Construction Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity of our residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed estimates of labor and material costs for framing projects
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the construction industry
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload
  • Reliability and strong teamwork skills
