Medical Laboratory Technologist II

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist II to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our Laboratory department, you will be responsible for performing routine lab procedures and rotating through various disciplines.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine lab procedures and rotate through various disciplines (Chemistry, Hematology, Transfusion Medicine, Microbiology, and Anatomical Pathology)
- Work collaboratively with the Chief Technologist and other laboratory staff to ensure efficient and effective laboratory operations
- Develop and maintain effective work relationships with colleagues and other healthcare professionals
- Stay up-to-date with technological developments in the field and apply this knowledge to improve laboratory processes and procedures
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Laboratory technology program
- Eligibility for certification from the Canadian Society of Laboratory Technologists
