Job Title: Sales Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Supervisor to join our team at Professional Book Fairs. As a Sales Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales staff and ensuring that our exhibitions and displays are visually appealing and effective in driving sales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, including assigning duties and providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Plan and develop permanent and temporary or moveable exhibits and displays for museum exhibitions, trade shows, conventions, retail spaces, and other exhibitions.
  • Authorize the return of merchandise and establish work schedules to ensure efficient operations.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that products are available for sale.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of office and volunteer staff.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a sales or supervisory role.
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Client focus and team player.
Work Environment:

Our team works in a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. As a Sales Supervisor, you will be required to work under pressure and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Language:

English is the primary language of communication in this role.

Work Term:

This is a permanent position.

30 hours per week.
