We are currently seeking to fill multiple temporary positions at our laboratory in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Sample Preparation Technicians:
    • Receiving, unpacking, and preparing samples for analysis while adhering to stringent quality control protocols.
  • Soil Extraction Technicians:
    • Preparing and managing reagents, solutions, and equipment necessary for extraction processes, documenting information, and ensuring quality control standards are met.
  • Soil Grinding Technicians:
    • Operating sample mills to pre-process samples according to a defined production schedule.
    • Retrieving dried samples from the drying area and preparing them for laboratory evaluation.

Additional position requirements:

  • Candidates must be available to work a mix of days, evenings, and/or weekends to meet our customer commitments.
  • Reliable transportation is advisable due to limited public transit options in the area.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move 40-60 lbs consistently.

The ideal candidates will possess post-secondary education in a relevant field, along with an equivalent combination of education and experience in a laboratory setting.
