SAICA PACK Laval, part of the SAICA Group, a leading European manufacturer of cardboard packaging solutions, is seeking a Design Engineer for their factory in France.

As a member of this dynamic team, you will be responsible for conducting technical studies, providing support to various departments, ensuring quality control throughout the design process, proposing innovative solutions, and actively contributing to continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth technical studies related to packaging design.
  • Provide expert technical support to internal departments, including production and sales.
  • Implement rigorous quality control measures throughout the design process to ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Develop innovative and efficient packaging solutions that meet customer requirements and market trends.
  • Actively participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and streamlining design processes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience as a Design Engineer within the packaging industry.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Pack Office, industrial drawing tools, Artios CAD, Illustrator, and Cape Pack.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and a customer-centric mindset.
