Your Impact at CNIB
As an Outreach Specialist, you will play a vital role in connecting businesses with talented individuals who are blind or partially sighted through our Come to Work Program. You will be responsible for building relationships with employers, promoting the program's benefits, and facilitating successful job placements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute outreach strategies to engage businesses in the Come to Work Program.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders within target industries.
- Conduct research on employment trends and best practices for inclusive hiring.
- Provide guidance and support to both employers and job seekers throughout the program process.
- Track program outcomes and prepare reports on progress and impact.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless program delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outreach, relationship building, or business development.
- Strong understanding of employment trends and inclusive hiring practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for creating opportunities for individuals who are blind or partially sighted.
