Job Title: Drywall Installer and Finisher

Join Jackman Drywall Ltd as a skilled Drywall Installer and Finisher to contribute to the success of our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall to ensure a smooth and durable finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a seamless finish.
  • Install and level drywall sheets, ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening.
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for drywall installation, removing any debris or obstructions.
  • Measure, cut, and fit drywall sheets to meet specific project requirements.
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound for a strong bond.
Work Environment:

As a Drywall Installer and Finisher, you will work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures, heights, and physical demands. You must be able to work at heights, in cold temperatures, and in dusty conditions.

Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in drywall installation and finishing.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
