Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Analyst to join our Commercial Insurance Pricing team. As an Actuarial Analyst, you will play a key role in developing and implementing actuarial pricing models, analyzing data, and communicating insights to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain actuarial pricing models and data analytics tools
  • Analyze data to identify trends and insights, and communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement pricing strategies and optimize business outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes, and apply knowledge to inform business decisions
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including actuarial and non-actuarial teams
Requirements
  • University degree in a quantitative field, such as Actuarial Sciences, Mathematics, or Statistics
  • Completion of a minimum of 3 CAS/SOA exams
  • 1-2 years of P&C actuarial experience, with a focus on commercial pricing
  • Strong programming skills, including SAS, Python, R, or Excel VBA
  • Strong Excel skills and efficient use of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Able to perform well in a busy operation and remain calm under pressure

Actual salary for the role may vary depending on work location of the successful candidate and other factors including but not limited to, skills, education, experience, working conditions and the local labour market. In addition to base pay, eligible employees may participate in various incentive plans which are paid out at the discretion of the company and subject to individual and company performance.
