Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team at MSI. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for growing and developing sales and margins of our tile product lines with our retailer/dealer network within an assigned geographic territory.
Key Responsibilities- Develop Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential customers within your assigned territory.
- Product Knowledge: Provide in-depth knowledge and training to customers on our products, ensuring they can effectively present and negotiate with consumers.
- Market Understanding: Stay up-to-date on market trends, competition, and product positioning to effectively promote our offerings.
- Display and Sample Management: Ensure timely and effective management of displays, samples, and selling tools for customer availability.
- Financial Acumen: Analyze retail business financials to consult with dealers on pricing, advertising, promotions, and ROI.
- Quote and Contract Management: Quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales contracts for customer orders.
- Delivery and Logistics: Estimate delivery dates based on company schedules and ensure timely delivery to customers.
- Sales Analysis: Review and analyze sales reports to identify sales potential with current and potential customers.
- Marketing and Promotion: Utilize marketing tools, such as catalogs and vendor collateral, to promote our products and expand reach in your territory.
- Customer Needs Analysis: Research and analyze customer needs and demands based on market information.
- Customer Issues Resolution: Investigate and resolve customer claims and problems with deliveries, returns, and credits.
- Trade Show Attendance: Attend trade shows as required to stay up-to-date on industry trends and promote our products.
- Travel and Territory Management: Travel 40% - 80% locally, occasionally nationally and/or internationally, to manage your territory effectively.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
- Experience: Two (2) plus years' experience in channel distribution sales, with a minimum of 2 years of related industry experience in natural stone, tile, or hard flooring industries.
- Skills: Strong math skills, ability to determine solutions for customers, results-oriented, and ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Computer Proficiency: Intermediate computer proficiency.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license required.
- Language Skills: Bilingual in French.
