Food Service Supervisor

Join MAHI ONTARIO INC. as a Food Service Supervisor and take on a challenging role that requires strong leadership and organizational skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy food service environment.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain a well-stocked inventory and ensure that our kitchen is always prepared to meet the needs of our customers.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting our high standards.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service and maintain a safe working environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet the demands of our menu.
- Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring that we have a talented and dedicated team in place to deliver exceptional service.
- Ensure quality control by monitoring food preparation and presentation, and addressing any issues that may arise.
- Prepare budgets and cost estimates to ensure that we are operating within our means and making the most of our resources.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our customers feel valued and respected.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to ensure that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
- Prepare and submit reports to management, providing insights and recommendations to improve our operations.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1-2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and management.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe working environment.
