About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at Long Lake Landscape Group Inc. as a General Construction Labourer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, leveling earth, and setting up scaffolding and other equipment.
  • Material Handling: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Assisting Tradespeople: Assist skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers with their tasks.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by cleaning up spills, removing debris, and ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding work requiring the ability to handle heavy loads and work in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Weight Handling: Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
  • Personal Protective Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, gloves, and ear plugs required.
Work Environment

Work will be performed outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
