Maintenance Painter Specialist

PAXA ENTERPRISES INC. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Painter to join our team. As a Maintenance Painter, you will be responsible for ensuring the exterior and interior surfaces of our properties are well-maintained and visually appealing.
Key Responsibilities- Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, including walls, ceilings, and other surfaces.
- Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in surfaces, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure surfaces remain in good condition.
- Painting and Finishing: Mix paint to desired color and texture, and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
- Surface Finishing: Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, and advise consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings.
- Equipment and Safety: Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging as needed. Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and follow safety protocols to prevent accidents.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Work Environment: Work outdoors in various locations, including residential and commercial properties.
- Work Conditions: Physically demanding, with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Language: English language proficiency required.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as needed.
