Job Title: Pharmacist Assistant - Part Time

Join Metro Inc. as a Pharmacist Assistant - Part Time and contribute to the success of our pharmacy team

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to support our pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care and services. As a Pharmacist Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and organized dispensary, processing prescriptions, and assisting with customer inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process prescriptions and maintain accurate patient records
  • Assist pharmacists with dispensing medications and providing patient education
  • Maintain a clean and organized dispensary, including restocking shelves and disposing of waste
  • Answer customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacist
Requirements:
  • Education: Pharmacy Assistant Program
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in retail pharmacy
  • Proficient with current PC systems, MS Office programs, and pharmacy software (Kroll)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
