Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and modify routes based on real-time conditions using navigation technology to enhance fuel efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
  • Demonstrate expertise in mountain driving.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the transportation process.
  • Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently.
  • Operate and navigate straight or articulated trucks for the delivery of goods.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage equipment.
  • Manage financial transactions related to goods transportation.
  • Perform necessary brake adjustments and maintenance checks.
  • Carry out pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, ensuring all vehicle aspects are in optimal condition.
  • Execute preventive maintenance tasks as required.
  • Communicate effectively with central dispatch to relay information.
  • Ensure the safety and security of cargo through proper tarping techniques.
Required Certifications
  • Valid Driver's License (Class 3 or D)
Documentation Skills
  • Familiarity with accident or incident reporting.
  • Ability to manage bills of lading and driver logbooks.
  • Knowledge of inspection reports and maintenance documentation.
  • Experience in preparing trip reports.
Experience Level

Applicants should have between 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
