About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced AZ Driver to join our team at Energy Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting various energy-related materials across Canada and into the USA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Securely load and unload cargo onto trailers using chains, binders, and straps, ensuring compliance with all permit regulations.
  • Utilize tarps to protect loads from damage during transit, safeguarding both the cargo and the surrounding environment.
  • Maintain accurate records by completing logs, reports, and other necessary paperwork in accordance with industry standards.
  • Adhere to established delivery schedules, prioritizing timely and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of assigned vehicles, including power units and trailers.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of verifiable AZ driving experience.
  • Valid AZ driver's license with a satisfactory abstract, demonstrating a commitment to safe driving practices.
  • Ability to interpret and apply transportation laws and regulations effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear interaction with dispatchers and customers.
  • Proficiency in using electronic systems for logging mileage and other relevant data.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve loading and load security issues.
  • Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and on standby rotation as required.
  • Willingness to travel within Canada and the USA for extended periods (up to 10 days).
