Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Support Worker to join our team at Alnawa Business and Consulting Services Inc.

Job Summary:

The Personal Support Worker will provide personalized care and support to individuals in their homes, promoting independence and dignity. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong commitment to providing high-quality care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and light housekeeping
  • Administer medications and provide wound care as needed
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfers
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Maintain accurate records of client care and services provided
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Health Care Aide Certificate or Personal Support Worker Certificate an asset
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
